This quick trick makes texting way easier, and people can’t believe it’s existed this whole time.
Trying to drag the iPhone curser is always a hassle; no matter how precise you try to be, your fat thumbs will always get in the way of typing. It’s almost less effort to delete the text and start from scratch. But as food blogger Krissy Brierre-Davis pointed out, you can avoid the problem entirely by holding down a key and dragging along the keyboard itself.
It turns out that this neat shortcut has been a thing since 2015, and an update was rolled out in September as part of iOS 12. But as Twitter shows, nobody really knew about it.
Not even Mike Isaac, a technology reporter for the New York Times, knew about the trick.

Note that you don’t even have to hold down the spacebar — you can hold any key and it’ll allow for precise text selection.
It doesn’t have to be the spacebar. Press and hold anywhere on the keyboard to enable to moveable cursor.

Apparently some people are thriving in the future while the rest of us peasants have been wallowing in the Stone Age.
The fact that y’all ain’t know you can push hard on your keyboard or press and hold the space bar to move your cursor both shows y’all ain’t reading my tweets and that you stupid AF.
Ok, carry on with your Monday…
